Winsome always had an uncanny wisdom beyond her years. I remember as a youngster, I would seek her advice about some predicament or another. She would first share a good laugh and then put it into perspective by recounting a far more daring and serious situation she had been through. I always felt better after talking to her. She was a trail blazer, never afraid to give things a go and to live life to the fullest. She did more in her 57 years than most of us could hope to achieve in 100. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Andrew Mierisch

Thanks for the wonderful memories & the friendship we once shared, the talks, our travels together, and especially the laughs. I don't think I have ever laughed so much with anybody else. I have really missed you and I am so terribly sorry. To Jamie & Richie....your mum was a beautiful lady. One of a kind. She will be terribly missed. Heather x

My memory of Winsome was meeting Winsome the first time whilst sitting on the balcony of a friends place overlooking Maula Bay. Winsome walked in and she filled the room with her presence. I will always remember Winsome's sense of humour and her ability to tell it like it is. Be in peace. Elle and John
