One of the hardest things in Life would have to be saying goodbye to a good mate, and Todd was just that. Will miss the drives to work and the Coffee's and conversations we had on the way. We know you'll be looking out for us mate, and we'll look after your family. Never forgotten Your memories will live on. LEST WE FORGET

It was only a few short weeks ago I was drawn to open and dust off an old box of memories, when I opened it up there on top sat a gorgeous photo of Todd and Reigan, smiling out on me on their wedding day here in Townsville all those years back. I can remember when they wed that day at the Anglican Church Rising Sun , witnessing the love shared between these two ,and whilst we were all young, I remember thinking "these 2 are a FOREVER couple" : ) Whilst Todd is no longer here in person he will remain in heart, thought and spirit with Reigan and their 4 beautiful children. Todd will always be her FOREVER!!!!! RIP Todd - a great soldier, husband and father FOREVER!

I was devastated to hear of Todd's death on the news. It was an honour to have previously served with him in the unit. I remember Todd as an exceptionally friendly man, with a great sense of humour. I would particularly like to pass my condolences on to Todd's family, as this time must be one of extreme loss for them. Todd, rest in peace mate Matt Former unit doctor.

[from Pat and Bob Ferguson]. We never new Todd personally, but, even living in Central Qld., we always felt safe, knowing that he, and his mates. were always looking after us and our kids, in the 'long run'. Such a gorgeous looking boy,Todd - GONE! What a waste! [But there is more to HIM, and his sacrifice]. He has done ALL for his country. Those, like Todd, who have sacrificed their LIVES for the 'world's wellbeing', will NEVER be. forgotten; WE LOVE HIM ! He and others gave their lives to make a difference - to make a better world. Who could do more? But let's hope his sacrifice is the last. Let's hope his sacrifice is finally 'THE ONE TOO many' for most of us. BRING THE REST OF THEM HOME, NOW. [We feel, so much, for you, his family, and friends. Lots of love, Pat and Bob xxxxxxxxxxxx

Still, we cry, pine, remember, and move restlessly about in our search to recover someone we have lost and cannot find - much as children do. Like children, too, we then vent rage, anger, sadness and despair until finally, the intensity of all these emotions diminishes. The realization sinks in that reality will not change, and so we must change instead, reordering both or lives and our attachments. Child or adult, this is the journey of grief

Thank you for that message - that is so true and has helped me think about how to deal with his passing.

Todd was another fine example of the true warriors that lie within 2nd Commando Regiment, he will be sadly missed...never forgotten. This is an extremely sad day for Todd's wife and children - we send them our heart felt condolences at this time. They will have all the support physically possible from the members of 2nd Commando Regiment. This loss, like all the Regiments losses, will only further our resolve in the war on terror... Lest We Forget...
