Stewart was in my class at Shore and in the same year at St Pauls College. I remember Stewart as someone who was well liked by everyone. He had a dry sense of humor - laughed often out of the side of his mouth. Not a big man, he was a gifted footballer. He always insisted in using the expression 'hoi polloi' to refer to people who were wealthy or privileged. Over the years I met him again only infrequently. Nevertheless, I am sad at his loss and particularly sad for Anne and his family. Russell Stewart.

Farewell Stewie!
You sure deserve a rest!
Your country roots gave you that special compassion, skill, empathy, and practical approach to caring for your patients, and sure helped me greatly in my life, as one of your many colleagues and friends.
........and 2 of your unique records......
1."The fastest cardiac catheter 'skin to skin' in the Page Chest Pavilion"
2. "The only guy to get to swim on Elvis Pressley's guitar-shaped swimming pool!"
