Russell epitomized the upright gentleman and I remember him with utmost respect, integrity and of always showing a natural character of the highest officer material. He was always genuine and caring, honest to the nth degree and had a wonderful sense of humor. Russell and Beth dropped in for afternoon tea, having driven down to The Southern Highlands and having a short break..only about a year ago...very proud of their new whizz bang car, and Russell was still driving and was obviously very much up to it! Russell and Beth are both wonderful at keeping up their family friendships and this last time I saw Russell I will treasure for the rest of my life. I can still hear Russell's booming voice at Christmas drinks carol nights with Mary Huffam and her friends..always wonderful family times. Beth and Russell have been a wonderful couple and have raised a fabulous family, with John and Sarah. I will truly miss Russell. God will bless him mightily and be with him in heaven, where I really look forward to meeting Russell again.
