I had the very great honour and privelege to work with Bob Dunkerley as his personal assistant at Hoover Australia where he was Managing Director for many years. I would say we had a close working relationship and I enjoyed the job immensely. He was a wonderful boss who was held in very high regard, not only by other employees, but also by industry colleagues and retailing executives. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and am very sorry I didn't know in time to attend his funeral. He was a very proud and loyal family man and I extend my deepest sympathies to Barbara, their children and families. Roslyn Martin
