Richard was my first boss when I worked at Sutherland Shire Council in the late 1990's. He was a very patient professional who helped me to develop my career strengths in transport planning and land use planning. Richard backed me when I was awarded the NSW Young Planner of the Year in 1996. I learnt a great deal from him and was very sad to hear of his passing.
