I was so lucky to have met Michael back in the Drummoyne Rowers days and he was a beautiful person with a big heart, a great sense of humour and a true knowledge of what was important in life!! In our early 20's we literally ran into each other on the other side of the world in Greece and spent a fantastic funfilled summer season with newfound friends on the Island of Paros and then lived the winter in London. It was wonderful to have someone from home to share in some of the best times of our lives.. those memories still bring a smile to my face to this day!! Michael was one of the true gentleman of this world and if his son grows to be half the man Michael was he will have left a great legacy. The world is a sadder place without you here.. You will never be forgotten Jo xx

As long as I've know MOB I couldn't even think of him without smiling. This was because our friendship was so full of laughter and good times. In cricketing terms his innings was cut way too short. But best God's will be done over ours. Nevertheless I miss him terribly. Willo

A lovely bloke who lit up the room whenever we met with a twinkle in his eye, a good story, and a great laugh. My thoughts are with all his wonderful family and friends. Danny & family
