You always had more cars coming and going than most people have hot dinners. I finally did the deed and bought a new one. It was hard to let go of my cruiser. You bought me that on a whim and it was the most beautiful car I had ever seen. I need you to look over us now in the new 'NuPower mobeele'. Getting blingy wheels soon. Can you make rain next on your agenda. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi Lovey. I know you loved Birthday parties and presents. Brandon was 16 on Friday. He got his "L" permit today. I know that there used to be absolute shouting matches when you took the others out, so looks like it's me teaching again. Still not got my car. This wouldn't happen if you were here!! (Big Smiley Face). Dockers won derby again too. (Even bigger smiley face!!)

Hi Lovey, Hope you and your dad had a great time with all the old soldiers and their stories on Friday. The dawn service at Bully was great and the morning beautiful and mild. I know you always enjoyed Anzac Day. My Grandma died today (Grampy's mum). I can just see you waiting to greet her and make sure she knew where to go. You were always a charmer with the old girls. PS: We were too busy talking to get to the vege's. I guess you know that.

Hi Lovey Gayr and Bruce gave me a crappy GXL Cruiser to drive. Brings back memories of the Silver One. Goes just as slow. You would love it. But I don't. Send them a buyer for it so they can change it for something else. XXXXX

We always loved the way that you ate your chocolate easter egg. You managed to get the biggest around and then would crack it straight onto your forehead. All the bits went into a bowl and then you would sit and watch the footy and eat every last bit. We are eating and watching for you this Easter. Happy Days

Every time you got a bee in your bonnet about a vehicle we just knew it was a matter of time before it arrived in the driveway. Any excuse would do, and you would find any excuse to get round why you did it. NOW IT'S MY TURN. Just bought my own first car. Bruce looked after me. I won't let you down on the wheels either. Already talked to Wilbur. 25th Anniversary present with style.

I know how much footy meant to you. I remember when you were an Eagles member. If they won you were on top of the world but if they lost - you were a grump. We always knew if they were losing badly because you would be home before the game replay came on TV. Have you and Mainy sorted out their problems yet? Just wanted to say that it is the Dockers year.

Mark James Dalglish!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you so much, your happy smile, caring about FAMILY and friends, your happy nature and love of life!!! and those CARS, which one have we today we lost count. You were a REV HEAD (hoon, car nut ETC). I organized Robert's 50th birthday and ask if you would like to go, yes you said with no hesitation it will be awesome and I ask Brian, Bruce, Brenton, Mick to go. We told Robert he had to have the afternoon off work, he said why? a surprise ! He didn't know what was going on, so he had the day off, kept saying I should be at work. The boys met down the road and arrived all together, Robert still didn't know what was going on. They all piled into Mark's white monster and went out to Barbagallo's to be racing car drivers for the day. He thought they were just doing laps. So they spent all day, then kids and wives went out to see them racing. They were like kids the biggest bunch of rev heads you are ever going to meet, they had a ball. dressed up in their racing suits and doing pit changes, it was fantastic. A birthday to remember!!!!!!!! Mark had done it a couple of times and just loved it. Miss you Mark love Leeane Robert Clinton Kaylee Adam Brenton Kat & Kurt

Just growing up with a 'SPUNKY' uncle!! Getting dropped off at high school in his flashy statesman caprice. Having fun in the pool with him and mick. Those were fun days. Then as we got older going to him for advice and a chat, looonnnggg chats!! Even though he was at work he always stopped and had a cuppa. Then when I had kids and they got into all kinds of sport we didn't see much of the family but they were always thought about. We always went to family do's when we weren't at sport, but now you do think twice about whether you should have missed some sport and went to the do's. Miss you heaps Mark.

I remember the time Mark brought home the F100. It was grey and purple and the ugliest thing I had ever seen. He parked it on the front lawn, right outside the bedroom window and spent the afternoon spreadeagled across the bonnet. He was so happy. The damn thing was a bucket of bolts and I remember having to stand on the pedals to make it stop. The seat was broken so he had to put a pillow in for me to reach the steering wheel. He loved that truck. PS Mark never let a car overtake us. Many times , if I drove, he would shout at me - don't let that car get in front - put your foot down!! If it was a Mazda or Mitsubishi he would have purple fit. He hated them!!

Mark had a sense of humour that was just like ours we laughed at so many things. I loved all of the prawn jokes. Stephen said he loved the fact that all the sheep called Maaaaak instead of Baaaaaaa. His trademark Akubra hat, blue bonds singlet, shorts and thongs even though mark liked fashion i still remember shopping at whitfords and him walking towards me with his akubra hat, blue singlet, footy shorts and thongs and thinking how out of place the hat looked his hat looked very big to me that day. I commented when i got home that he looked like Jed Clampert. Memories are engraved in our minds we love to talk about them with love Mandy, Stephen, Anthony and Samantha

Well i have many memories i realy don't know were to start .One that springs to mind is the many times we went skiing at Waroona Dam for long weekends .We would ski all day long till our arms would ache. After about the second day , Mark would offer anyone money to wipe his butt ,as his arms would ache so much he thought he couldn't reach it .We would tent .Peter and i would have the small one ,Mandy and Steve had the borrowed one held together with pegs and Belinda and Mark the Tajmahal .Well ,one night we were all asleep when we awoke to Mark yelling . As we all try to unzip our tents to get out thinking someone was steeling our stuff . Mark was the first out . We all laughed as it was only a kangaroo eating our rubbish. By now half the carravan site was awake, we all laughed. That night around the camp fire , we all talked about the night .As you can imagine the story got bigger and bigger and more ridiculous . Its funny , even writing it now makes me laugh. LOVE THE DUBYS XXXXXXXX

The thing I remember most of My Uncle Mark is the Love Fun and laughter we all shared with him. The Clowning around we did. If I was feeling down, He would make me laugh with one of his Stories. If we needed some advise he would have something to give, but most of all His heart was always open for us and that is what a true gentleman is all about. I am Proud to say my Name is Nardee & Im the Proud to be the Niece of Mark James Dalglish. Love you miss you deeply, but I keep smiling cause you are watching me and the family. xxx

i remember one day, when dad was finishing off the shed and all it's accessories, we had dinner, and then at about 7 o'clock, when it was quite dark, i was outside cleaning up the shoe rack and dad came out and started to put his work boots on. "dad, what are you doing??" "well, the star pickets aren't quite finished yet and i wanted to finish it before i went to bed." "are you NUTS?! your gonna hurt yourself!" "pfffft. no I'm not. Never. i will be fine." about 5 minutes later mum had him in the car and on the way to hospital because he'd brought the star picket plunger down on top of his thumb and had ripped it all open. more then 15 stitches, and i seem to have lost count of how many times i said to him "i told you so," or I've brought it up and we've laughed about it :)

I remember Mark trying to light the barbie when we were camping on the Bullsbrook block. He had the gas on but the match kept blowing out. He leaned in real close and the gas ignited and blew out onto his face. He looked up in amazement and His long eyelashes and eyebrows were all sizzled and crisp and I nearly wet myself from laughter. Luke screamed and it was ages before we cooked on there again.
