Lucky was dear to me, even though I did not know him personally. Through his music I felt connected to him because of the kindness and love I felt emanating from every beat, every word. The world now has a gap in it that will widen through the passing of time. Lucky will be missed more than words can express. May his killers never, I repeat, never enjoy another minute on this earth.

First time I heard Lucky Dube, I was hooked. He spoke and sang from the heart and cared about people. I feel sad when I listen to him his songs now, but also blessed to have been touched by his music and spirit. Bless you and your family for all you did and more you could have done, had you had more time on this earth, but your spirit and music will live on in all who hear of you and listen to you. Thank you and bless you.
