While I never met Leslie I will treasure our brief correspondence in the summer of 2009. My grandmother was also a Vandersluys and together Leslie and I (mostly Leslie) were able to unlock the family history going back generations. I am planning to visit Holland this summer and many of the places we discovered through research. I am deeply saddened that I will not be able to share my journey with Leslie.
