I only met Lesley in February 2010 during the course of my work. When a wonderful person like Lesley crosses your path, time is of no meaning. My role with Lesley existed over a mere 3 months, however, we had a frank, genuine and professional, yet human, interaction. I fondly remember the last day that I saw her. I was 15 minutes early for our meeting at her home, and she was not home. So I waited in the car for her. Promptly at 3pm, our scheduled appointment time, she pulled in her driveway and proceeded to apologise even though she was not late! She had been visiting Rodney and did not want to leave him for even one minute earlier than she needed to. She was a wonderful and dedicated wife, and a gentle and genuine human being and I am very pleased I had the pleasure of meeting her. My thoughts and sympathy are with her whole family, particularly her brother whom I met only once, briefly, but I know that she spoke of him with great admiration and love.
