Dear Leslie and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Larry was a wonderfull man that gave me time and showed he had confidence in me . I think he was very dissapointed when I would not show and clean those wonderfull cars he had ! Till this day he lives on with the advise he had given to me . My thoughts reach out to you and your family I believe you have touched many hearts Larry

Dear Leslie and family, I was so shocked Leslie when you answered Larry,s phone this morning,Larry and I met some two years ago on the John Holland Project at Cronulla. We had a great interest that we shared and that was the sound of a V8,I had just purchased a V8ss ute and larry would often laugh that all I carried in the back was my esky as most earth moving contractor utes sit 2 foot of the ground and not just 5 inches and usually carry fuel tanks and shovels and stuff. He would often call me over to show me his latest gadget, see this cable he said I plug it into my laptop and some guy in dural can tune the motor as I drive along,Ill be buggered I said what next will they think of,He grinned, look at this I press this button and I get a straight through exaust and dont forget the cold air intake, the what I said. You could see in his face he just loved that HSV and all the gadgets.Although we only new each other for a short time I will always think of Larry as a friend, who shared his passion for cars and would always go out of his way to help in any way he could. We have lost one hell of a guy and I am but one of many who will miss him. To the Freeman Family I offer my Sincere Condolences John Gordon.
We only knew you for a short time but we really did feel like we had been friends for life! I am so glad that fate happened to bring us together that day at the hospital, we received the comforting support of not only you Larry but of Leslie as well! You rose above your nerves to not only comfort us but to also care for us, your uplifting spirit really has been an inspiration to us all with that big warm heart of yours..... Larry, your heart was never broken it really knew what to do all along and for that I admire you! You guys made our stay in hospital so much better then it would have been not knowing you! I regret not being able to catch up with you one last time... You have left your foot print on our hearts forever lots of love Geoff, Denise and Jenn Rogers
