Joyce, Today we say farewell to you in body but not in spirit. Take comfort in knowing that your loving daughter will always be part of our 'Van Steel' clan. She was welcomed into our family many years ago, is one of us and we will keep her safe in the fold of our family circle. With that she gained 3 brothers and 3 sisters and loads of extended family. I know you and grandpa will be standing beside her, watching over her and will wrap her in your arms as she continues her journey through life. I will be her older sister, we will grow old together, life friends forever (although she is the bossy one). Sure hope they have a huge library for you to sit and read, mountains to climb, oceans to cross, rivers to swim and endless sky's to soar.
My rock, my world. my teacher, my soundingboard, my Mum. Go with Grandpa on your next journey. Watch over me together as I continue to grow and fulfil the lessons you both taught me. I am blessed to have had you as my Mum. You did an amazing thiing pursuing your dreams and allowing me to pursue mine. You are at peace now. Thank you for holding on until I could be by your side - it was a beautiful moment I will always cherish. Love you Mum always.
Through your wonderful daughter I got to know an amazing lady. When Marion speaks of you, the love, warmth and admiration shines through, she is an everlasting testament of your love, guidance and character. The world is a better place for having had you in it, you will be greatly missed. Soar High lovely lady - Rest in Peace and take comfort that we will look after Marion for you. Love Anja & Glen
I never got to meet you in person but I had the great honor of knowing you through your beautiful daughter. Marion 'glowed' with pride, admiration and affection when ever she spoke of you. I got a glimpse of you through Camberwell. You will be missed greatly but your love and memories will live on forever. Rest in Peace and may you continue your travels of the world with Grandpa. Anja & Glen
