I also remember the time I was doing a Girl Scout project and I asked my grandma Jottie to share her life with me. Until then I'd never realized how interesting an elderly woman's life could've been. Unfortunately, I wish I could've been in a saner state of mind when she was ill and passed away in 2005.

I still remember back to when I was a small child and grandma was still able to walk with a cane. Later she began walking with a walker and eventually became bedridden with her arthritis.
