I was never really a fan of Jades but I also never felt the need to diss her, finding myself supporting her in discussions and I now feel a loss of her vivacious spirit that no other celebrities possess to her level. Although she had undeniable bullying tendencies she also had victim stamped on her head. And since us public have such pent up anger at our own frustrating lives we use scapegoats to vent out on. The media often chose Jade as our verbal punchbag. Yet she proved an unfloundering strength, facing everything head on and always picking herself straight back up. She was an inspiration to many. Eventhough she was viewed as a rough Essex girl she was consistantly classy in her handling of the media, never retaliating or presenting any form of bitterness. Jade had a magical way of casting a positive glow over anything that fazed her. She was always honest, open and true to herself. From this, we could all learn a few things and for that reason I will certainly miss her. Jade Goody is an icon of our times, an accidental pioneer with a big mouth but an even bigger heart. RIP (PS - I'm one of the many young girls to benefit from prompt treatment for cervical cancer due to Jade forcing the publics awareness of Cervical Cancer in young women.)

when following a tv star you never quite get the chance to see how they live, but Jade was different she was true, open and never let anyone get her down.
