I am so sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Elise. She was a strong and inspirational woman who had a great influence on my life and career in Melbourne. I have so many memories of our time together and our classroom adventures - Loong the Dragon being one of them. Her passion and creativity will long live on through all those who knew her. 'Life is for living' was her advice for me the last time we spoke and I will never forget it.

Elise, You have fought the good fight. You have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Now there is in store for you the crown of righteousness, which the Lord will award to you on that day. Thank you for the love you shared with us and our children. Your legacy will grow with them through life into the adults God made them to be. Meet you under the tree of life. Much love The Goldby family and especially, Sebastian 10 years old. You would be proud of him.

Elise was the most wonderful role model and teacher at PLC ELC. She taught us all to take pride in our work, to delight in all we do, and to listen to and be inspired by the children's own ideas. Deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Love from Stephanie, Rowena, Suzanne & Peter Boone.

Not a day went past that Elise didn't make me laugh and she always had a spark that was infectious. She loved her job and I learnt a great deal from her. She was full of life and she had me in fits of laughter hearing the way she sometimes answered the phone at work, "Goodmorning Fanny's Frock Shop"!!!! Much love to Russell and the family, my thoughts are with you.

Remembering all the crazy things that Elise used to do that made me laugh and made our day pass so fast. I was so lucky to have met her and to have had the pleasure of working with her for two years. She will always have a very special place in my heart. Kirsten Darvell

Elise, I will be forever grateful for the support and understanding you gave to us. I truly believe and know in my heart, that if not for you, our lives would have been very different. Your compassion and wisdom gave me strength - your kindness and your reassurances made my daughter smile. I am so thankful that when we last met I was able to thank you again, and could see how happy you were that we were ok. You gave so much, Elise – I will always be thankful for knowing you and your influence in our life will be enduring. Janet Harris.
