Everything he did is such an example for all of us. But I think Cesar Chavez was also someone we can all relate to. He was a worker. He was an everyday person. But he transcended above what the world gave him and tried his hardest to fight for his fellow workers and make a better future for them. This is what is so admirable and courageous about Cesar Chavez - that he is and will always be one of us.

He's been such an inspiration to my own artistic pursuits and visions. Diego Rivera led an extraordinary life. For years, I've read about his art, his political vision and his relationship with Frida. All of it is beyond words. I think the man had flaws like all of us. But I think there are also lessons about love, passion and idealism that are to be learned by Diego.

SELENA was a wonderful life force who brought so much presence and beauty to the stage. She gave to Tejano music such emotional courage and vulnerability. And people loved her. It's impossible forget her and none of us ever want to. I send my love to all her friends, family, loved ones and her fans. She loves all the fans so much and we keep on loving her.
