Mum the cookbook was a hit we sold out in a week thank you for your recipes. The Cookbook Girls surprised me and dedicated the book to you, which was beautiful. The launch was fantastic but if only you could have been with us. Mum you were an amazing lady who put everyone first, you never complained or sort any reward for your efforts. I miss you, especially when I am having a cooking day and using one of your recipes which I am having trouble reading and as per usual reach for the phone to ring you but then remember that I need that direct line to upstairs. What brings us some comfort is that you have been reunited with Dad the love of your life, Nana and Pa .Tim, William, Henry, Walter and I have wonderful memories of you, that make us laugh and at times cry, but I tell the boys that we have our own two guardian angels looking over us……Dad and You. I remember with the sudden loss of Dad people would say to me the healing process just takes time but your passing is still so hard to comprehend. I often say to myself that if only I had one more minute with you, what would I say - I would tell you that you made me the person I am today and I thank you and God for giving me a mother who loved and in turn was loved and will never be forgotten. We love and miss you Mum always. Christine xxxxxx A kiss from us all and one big one for Dad.

It's so hard to find any words...... Mum you were an amazing person and an incredible mother. You left us too soon but we will always have our cherished memories of you. Life will be hard without you but we will find a way to pick ourselves up and move forward. I can feel you with me and I know you are an angel sitting on my shoulder trying to help me with this loss. "To the world she was but one, but to us she was the world". Love you Mum always and forever. Rach xxx

What does one say on a day like this. We all have special bond with our parents but the one with our mothers is quiet unique. Mum was very generous and loving to all her children, their friends, their friends friends. Any one that came into contact or met her would remember her forever. Her kind & generous nature. Her concern that you didn’t have enough to eat. Any one was welcome @ “Bungaree” whether they be a hygiene consultant for Bernard or liturgical dance teacher for Rach. All where welcome. During such a sad time for us all we try to find positives. To me the positives are the memories that I have of our dearest mum. I have jotted a few down to share with you. These are the memories I have as a kid, Some really good & some I should’ve did? Big slices of delicious caramel cake, That my beautiful nana Corkhill, she did make. The girls looking funny, us boys did stare. As our creative mum, put rags in the hair. Laura Ashley was all the rage, mum having trouble with the old Singer, O’h do behave! The Pauls frozen food truck going from Yass to Young, Would call in at “Bungaree”, o’h what fun. 20 kg bags of frozen chips and peas. What about a 20 lt of chocolate ice cream kids, o’h yes please!! Not a lot to worry about way back then, what’s that ruddy noise, ah Just Simon crying again!! Up early on Sunday morn with the bleating of the sheep. Hurry up, hurry up all you lot or we wont get a seat. This was my father talking, off to the Monasteries 7am show. In a car made to fit 6, he could make 14 go!! I have many more memories like the ones above, But none more precious than of my parents love With 7 girls & 5 boys they tried to be equal to us all. It some times did get messy, when the wrong name they did call! It has been 11 years since Big Jim’s last Novena. He would getting very excited now, its been a while since he’s seen a. Now our mothers leaving us, no more pumpkin shall she slice. Reunited with her beloved husband with the lord in paradise! Love always Patrick xo
