I was a quiet child without a lot of exposure to music growing up. I was 15 before I truly got interested in music. I miss a lot of musicians that have passed, but if I had to choose two guitarists I could learn from, it would be Randy Rhoads and Chuck, no offense to Jimi or Dime Bag and the countless others. These two have influenced me so much through the so little bit of music I've heard them play. 80 albums is far too short, let alone the 8 I've listened too by Death/Control Denied. I am truly blessed to have heard his music, and if I had one wish, it was that the world heard Without Judgment for a quiet five minutes, so that their souls could soar as mine did the first time I heard it. Rest easy, brother. We miss you so much.
Chuck, your lyrics, and views on life have helped me get through so much. It feels like some of your lyrics are aimed right at me,even though i know they're not. You changed the game, metal isnt the same because of you. Thank you, you will be missed.
ibe actually listendChuck's music like two days ago. i'd would listen to his playing style and it was just amazing.Different from any other deathmetal band ive'd ever listend to. I would listen to the ;yrics and yes, they're pretty scry; but i decided to read them and listen to the songs at the same time. Chuck, your music actually speaks to me. The album that i love the most is The Sound of Perseverance. Perfect album, just perfect. My favorite tracks, Bite the Pain, Spirit Crusher, Story to tell, To Forgive Is To Sufer, and last but not least, Voice of The Soul. You were a very inteligent and intelectual man. I will forever respect you and your music. Your music is helping me to change my life, and the life of my love ones. One You still are awesome. Rest in piece, Father of deathmetal \m/.
This is a fantastic tribute site-Thank you to the person who made it happen. Chuck would be so totally blown away by all of you and your words. Chuck is missed as much, if not more, by his Family today. Pain is a funny thing, it doesn't go away, we just tolerate it better as time goes by. I love you and miss you so very much, my dear brother. Love, Bethann (Beth Schuldiner)
An incredible talent that to my comprehension is the "founding father" of death metal. I am glad there are websites such as this to keep his memory alive and well. He will be forever missed and losing him well before his time is the hardest thing to bear. I wish I would have seen Death live, but I have all their albums to keep me company. R.I.P. Chuck, you are in a better place. I wonder if you are playing music upstairs with Dimebag and Cliff?
I thought that the tribute was cool. Thank you for it... ERIC Manager of Death (1988-92)

Thank God you made a tribute Darkness! I love Chuck so much, he's been always my idol... I'm sure he's among the angels right now, though, so I don't worry much. CHUCK FOREVER
We all miss you so much Angel...
