This boy was truly an hero.
I never knew Brandon, but this story broke my heart from the day i heard of his disappearance. His parents did what any responsible and loving parent would do. I can't tell you the amount of times i had my valued items taken from me....resulting in me taking off. It's so sad that this had to end this way. I've prayed for Brandon since day one, and i'll continue to do so. Crisp family, please know you are in so many peoples thought and prayers during this time. Your beautiful son is now a beautiful angel to watch over you.
Brandon was an hero to us all. Please don't make fun of him. You people are ruining lives. Not everyone can turn 360 degrees and walk away from a game. EbaumsWorld this isn't funny go away.
As a mother and grandmother of two....one of which lives in Barrie,I can't even imagine what despair and pain the Crisp family is now in. Please,as a mother who has spoken the same words that you did please do not hang on to whatever pain this might be giving you. But for the grace of God walk I. This a tragedy that should never ever happen to any parents. My prayers are dedicated to this saddened family and friends.
I am the mother of a 15 year old son. He is very much into online gaming. We had an argument (over who knows what now?) When he was about 10 years old. He was going to "run away" also So I did what Brandons father did, and helped him pack his things. I watched him walk down the street and sit on at the corner on the grass for about 20 minutes before he came home. How many other parents have done this? Countless Im sure! How many parents also argue with their chlidren? The child leaves in anger and then comes home. The child does not die! This is so sad and such a tragedy. I cannot imagine how his parents are feeling. My heart goes out to the Crisp family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends
I prayed to God over 9000 times I know that Brandon rests in heaven now. He will be missed.
Among fields marked by crooked trees and patches of scraggly bush east of Barrie, Ont., hunters Wednesday ended the nationwide search for 15-year-old Brandon Crisp. They stumbled upon a body police believe to be Brandon's on an Oro-Medonte Township property, a sagging barn standing at one end. The land lies just north of the area police and volunteers scoured in the weeks following his disappearance on Thanksgiving Day after a fight with his parents over an Xbox video game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
He was an hero to us all. Goodnight sweet prince
so horrible how that kids went hopefully there will be something good that will come of it
This fine young man that I did not know is not an example of what society does with our children via video games. I have raised 3 boys 21,17 and 8 and I know. It is each other's responsibility to raise our children in this popular culture today. There is excessive technology which we need to function better today but which can also work against us. Please stop going around saying this boy died over an X-Box grounding. Instead, divert your energy to prayers for the family of Brandon and pay your respect here at Respectance.com/BrandonCrisp To the Crisp family and friends, we hear you! We mourn with you! We HURT with you! God bless you at this difficult time!! If you are a friend or classmate or relative of Brandon, please post memories of this fine young man here in this permanent memorial page and tell your friends. To contact me, call Kemi on 647-344-5390 or e-mail me here.
Gurl, you speak your mind! Tell it like it is! You are what we need! Thankyou! ~cierra~
Cotton-Candy, we have to.......Look at the internet, I use it daily but the last thing we need is our child going this way. We all have to educate each other in the popular culture. Thank you for your comment today.

I really miss you Brandon. He was not the type of guy who would give you up, let you down, run around an desert you. Never would he make you cry, or tell and lie and hurt you. RIP Brandon.
