Bernie Mac was an outstanding talent! Although I did not know him personally, I feel as if I have loss a Good Friend. Much love to his family.

I'm scandinavian and even then what I primarily remember him for is his comedy and personality rather than appearing in some Ocean eleven movie. For me he was primarily a standup comedian. What made an impression on me was how his persona and comedy was never typically disrespectful or lowbrow, but rather even if reactive and hardass and old school, civilized and calm with an unusual cool and substance, especially for his "genre" (color I guess..) of comedy. He seemed very genuine. The news really got to me. He will be missed.

Bernie Mac was one of the funniest stand up comics around. My heart goes out to his family and friends, just know that he is in God's hands now and he completed his earthly journey. Now he will be making people laugh in heaven for eternity--R.I.P. Bernie

...till the white meat shows! Yeah some thought of it as crass, but those of us that know busted a gut laughing. We are sane and don't abuse our kids, but sometimes you gotta strike fear with words. Bernie's chats with America, classic. When he missed his appointment with Mama Kim...I know that aired recently, but I could watch some episodes over and over. They got him with the dead dog! I didn't know Bernie from his stand up, I shy away from most of that. But the man showed even with what some call, the constriction of TV, you can bump it up to the heights of laughter. Going to sleep with the show is gonna be to sad, but I'll come back to it when I can deal with it. I wished he could have been one of my relatives, at family reunions, he would have kept us laughing, and helped us all reach for a dream or our dreams, if we had one. Didn't personally know him, but loved him. Our family is heartbroken. Our sincerest love goes to his family and friends. Blessing to you all. WHO YOU WIT!!!!!! Now let's get some information on this disease out there.(My nephew has it along with a few more folks I know, and I've lost to many friends to it). I have Lupus first my doctor thought I had it too, let's get some info out. I know its being said that this didn't contribute to to his death, but are they sure!

Bernie Mac was truly a "King"!! He has brought so much joy and laughter to my life through his comedy. I loved his style and the fact that he seemed to be so down to earth. His beautiful smile will be missed. You are gone, but NEVER forgotten. God has taken you to a better place. My prayers go out to your family because I know they are sorely hurting. My memories are very general. He just made me laugh, which is a great gift. I thought his sitcom was inventive and unique and mostly just featured a fantastic man and character.

while doing laundry this morning, my son, who is in the army called me from Georgia.He said "Mom, your boy Bernie is gone" I could not believe my ears. I Actually left my laundry and rushed home to check the internet for myself. I'm so shocked to think that just at 3am this morning, i was watching Kings of Comedy for the hundreth time. Bernie Mac was my favorite. Every time i watched that movie, i would rewind back to Bernie. I just could not get enough of this funny man.....My prayers are with his family.....
